Hidden Hill Accoyo Sarabande

Full Accoyo Fleece Champion!!

Hidden Hill Accoyo Sarabande

SuriFemaleBeige
AOA# DOB: 7/27/201112 yrs
Locked and loaded and the 2013 Light Suri Fleece Champion! Her fleece also received the blue ribbon at the 2013 PAOBA Fleece Show, where there were insufficient entries for a championship. Sarabande has been a healthy, beautiful suri cria from the outset, and the fourth daughter in a row for us from our fabulous Accoyo Sharli, a Jackpot daughter. Sarabande is sired by our own Accoyo Tiago Primo, himself sired by the great Accoyo Santiago. Research performed on Tiago prior to purchasing him showed that Tiago had never sired anything but suri offspring, including breedings to known heterozygous females. That his sire, Santiago, also has a 100 percent suri offspring record per ARI is also ...
Toni's Accoyo Gold Rush

Toni's Accoyo Gold Rush

LF
Gold Rush is our colored full Accoyo son of the great Somethin's Up, and he confers gray and black when bred to those colors, too. With our full Accoyo lights, expect to see a huge fleece cutting weight, oodles of luster and maybe color as well. But as we have a white daughter here, we can tell you that you will love his whites as much as his colored offspring.
Hidden Hill Andalusia

Last Dually Daughter we will ever offer!

Hidden Hill Andalusia

HuacayaFemaleWhite
AOA# DOB: 6/7/20203 yrs
If you want a Dually daughter with true dam power, look no further than Andalusia. Her dam was 17 years old when she birthed her out. Here is how Alessandra does things. You look out in the pasture and see nothing. Come back about fifteen minutes later and the cria trots up to you, you dip the navel, and back it goes to mom and starts nursing, which means it probably already knows how. Since she had Andalusia, Alessandra blessed me with Anasazi in October of 2021. My plan is to keep Anasazi. I will readily admit that I think the better fleece is on Andalusia, but I always prefer to sell my very best. It's my style. This is a well grown out line and I can assure you, too, that Anda...

HuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)White
ARI# AOA# 32133455   DOB: 8/21/201211 yrs
2022 - at the age of 10, this male still has very respectable EPDs in 7 categories and he has transitioned to a herd that has moved from NH to OK. Dec 2018 - An amazing year for this male - stunning EPDs - still in the top 5%! A fantastic shearing weight (again!) AND he is the sire of surviving twins. Yep - he remains on our herdsire row for sure. April 2016 - Another awesome shearing - 5.6# blanket and 2.4# neck for this guy. Same consistent dense blanket on the same solid frame. He just gets better with age. Oh yes...he will be part of our foundation males! Aug 2015 - still undecided? How about 17 micron as a three year old? Staying fine, with consistent fiber stats as th...
Hidden Hill Peruvian Brillanta

Banner-Winning Casanova Daughter!

Hidden Hill Peruvian Brillanta

HuacayaFemale (bred)White
AOA# DOB: 11/15/200617 yrs
Brillanta is still my favorite example of a Casanova daughter, and she comes by her gorgeous conformation, proportion and balance through a color champion dam as well. This female is one that will catch your eye in our sea of females. She took Reserve Champion White Female as a juvenile at the Green Mountain Alpaca Show in late 2007, and the competition there was incredible, so I probably do not have to mention how elite her fleece actually is, do I? We have a huge price tag on Brillanta for a reason. She is a totally expected outcome from a pairing of our simply amazing sire, Caligula's Casanova, and one of our very top elite white females, Peruvian Brietta. Brillanta has been bred to ...

Status Symbol SSMRT

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
ARI# AOA# 837158   DOB: 9/30/200122 yrs
When we were seeking a male to take our breeding program further, we were looking for the total package. We are confident that we found that in Status Symbol. He combines pedigree power with a spate of show-ring championships and his proven ability to confer his excellent fleece qualities to his offspring. If you are seeking a male with LASTING FINENESS, your search is over. Both Ian Watt and Norm Evans have performed skin biopsies on Status Symbol, and his secondary to primary follicle ratio is 13.4:1 (Watt's) and 13.25:1 (Evans'). Check out his 2011 histogram, as it is excellent for an eleven year old male. I love Status' approach to his work. All I have to do is show up at his pe...
Aussie Sabrina

EastWind's Snowstorm Daughter!

Aussie Sabrina

HuacayaFemaleWhite
AOA# DOB: 9/12/201013 yrs
Aussie Sabrina is just a very elite and sweet package female. We love her very correct conformation, compact frame, correct bite and fleece that remains solidly in the grade 1 range! What we love even more than that is what a great dam she has been. Her very first birth was as uneventful as anyone might hope. Both she and her cria appear to have read the manual, because Dually Noted was up and nursing in about twenty minutes' time following birth. So pretty and so are both her boys! We will post pictures of her when we can, but the best advertisement for Aussie Sabrina has to be her gorgeous offspring, Dually Noted and Subtly Noted! Subtly Noted is a very discreet pinto variant wh...
Hidden Hill Peruvian Dually

2009 Futurity and MAPACA Color Champ!

Hidden Hill Peruvian Dually

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
ARI# AOA# 31077217   DOB: 7/6/200716 yrs
Hidden Hill Peruvian Dually is our home-bred and born 2009 White Huacaya Male Color Champion at AAA Futurity. He followed that up with the 2009 White Male Huacaya Color Champion at MAPACA. What more could one want? Well, how about winning Judges' Choice at MAPACA? He's done that, too. In fact, the three times his fleece showed, he took championships and the Judge's Choice. However, with the Futurity championship, Dually has met the best of the west, east and all the rest and he has come out on top. Now, when he took those halter class championships, some very big names placed behind him. We generally do not drop names, but the second place finisher in Dually's class at Futurity ha...

Hidden Hill Peruvian Jour de Fete

Dually Daughter, Last Don Dam!

Hidden Hill Peruvian Jour de Fete

HuacayaFemale (bred)White
AOA# DOB: 7/21/201211 yrs
Well, Jour de Fete's farm call name is a far cry from her registered name. As we call her dam The Cupcake, she is Cannoli in the barns. All of The Cupcake's offspring carry foodie names for everyday purposes. The Cupcake is our oldest and first full Accoyo female, and we discovered that the best breeding in the barn for The Cupcake was none other than our own 5 time champion, 4 time judges' choice male, Hidden Hill Peruvian Dually. Thus, we have done this cross twice, and now we have TWO full sisters, Twinkie (aka Andria) and Cannoli (aka Jour de Fete). Cannoli is a beautifully conformed female with a very nice high frequency fleece. She carries the signature headstyle of her sire, D...

AOA# 1433128
Here is our latest addition to Hidden Hill Farm Alpacas' herdsire row: Accoyo America Typhoon! He is a celebrated son of the great Nautilus and it has been a dream of mine to have one of Nautilus' best sons in our breeding program. We cannot wait to take the daughters of both Caligula's Casanova as well as daughters of his five-time champion/four-times judge's choice son, Hidden Hill Peruvian Dually, to Typhoon. As a long-time observer of the Nautilus line, I know that fleece styles of these lines are designed to be crossed! Typhoon is on his way east at this time, and is expected to be on the east coast sometime this coming weekend. We are very honored to co-own him with our friends at LaFinca Alpacas, and we are very thankful for to all that have made this possible! Images are (C) Jennifer Clark -- but of course!

Miss Accoyo Alessandra

Yes, Full Accoyo!

Miss Accoyo Alessandra

HuacayaFemale (bred)White
AOA# DOB: 8/18/200518 yrs
It is very hard for me to believe that Alessandra is 12 years old! I am sure she would also be amazed. But if you want big, gorgeous, full Accoyo with excellent lineage, Alessandra is that. If you want a powerhouse producer who has had all females except for two stud quality males, Alessandra is that, too. If you want an excellent mom who always has those crias up and nursing by the time you check the barn in the morning, Alessandra is that as well! Now, I do not necessarily breed a full Accoyo to a full Accoyo here. Oh, to be sure, if the best match in the barn is a full Accoyo, then sure, I will do that, and it is not as though we do not have a spectacular full Accoyo male here, bu...
Pacific Crest Da Vinci

El Nino Son and Champion Producer!

Pacific Crest Da Vinci

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
ARI# AOA# 839599   DOB: 10/9/200221 yrs
There are a lot of high quality PCA El Nino sons out and about, but we think Da Vinci's dam line makes him a very special guy, capable of taking both colored and white huacaya programs to a much higher level! When selecting a sire, we place at least equal weight on the strength of the dam line as we do the sire line. Frankly, we think the old adage, 'behind every great man is a great woman' simply holds more truth than most breeders would be willing to admit. Sure, Da Vinci is the picture of his famous sire, PCA Accoyo El Nino. More importantly, though, his dam is an equally famous dark brown female retained by her producer for his foundation herd. Pacific Crest Peruvian Mulberry is a mul...

Sangria Swirl of Graceland Farms

Dually Honored Daughter

Sangria Swirl of Graceland Farms

HuacayaFemaleBeige
AOA# DOB: 6/9/20203 yrs
Sangria Swirl is one of our home-produced Dually Honored daughters. Dually Honored offspring have been taking banners and judges choice at major shows. Swirl was second place at the 2021 MAPACA as a juvenile. She was second place at NEAE as a yearling. She won Walking Fleece Juvenile at MAPACA 2021 as well. She has that distinct and independent staple formation that is the hallmark trait of her sire, who were are proud to have produced here at Hidden Hill Farm. Swirl is definitely a female that could produce color. Her dam, Andes Farm Margarita, is a light fawn with the beautiful dark shading on the face. Since Dually Honored has already sired a dark modern gray, and her grandsire,...

Derwydd Danu

We are crazy to even offer her!!

Derwydd Danu

HuacayaFemale (bred)True Black
AOA# DOB: 11/5/201112 yrs
If you want proven, with nothing short of a stellar maternal record, look no further than Danu. For us, she has only had males, but oh what males they are. We sold her silver gray son to a breeder in Pennsylvania. Her TB son sired by a modern rose gray named El Camino Real will be for sale, BUT we are keeping her dark fawn son, Fire In The Lake, who is sired by our own Futurity white color champion, Hidden Hill Peruvian Dually. Fireman has a truly exquisite fleece. To this day, Danu has no halo of primaries and a very soft handle to her fleece. Her pedigree is studded with all the right stuff, but I have always admired the Derwydd program. Danu has been bred to a modern medium r...
Granite Excalibur

Champion Rose Grey male

Granite Excalibur

HuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey, Medium Rose Grey, Dark Rose Grey
ARI# AOA# 35424215   DOB: 9/4/20176 yrs
A picture sometimes says a thousand words. This male has matured into a strong, upright, proud male. He is clearly molded in the image of his sire - just in a different color. Many have remarked that he is a "roan grey" but we don't recognize that color here in the US. In the US, he is a modern rose grey. He is extremely fine, yet consistent in architecture and bundling within his blanket - rare for a modern dark rose grey alpaca. HIs frame is amazingly strong boned, square and correct. His head just screams "curb appeal". Your eyes are just drawn to this male whether he is in the field or enters the barn. He has the total package - presence, style, form, and fiber. We are offer...

Hidden Hill Stormy Weather

Power loaded pedigree and that HEAD!

Hidden Hill Stormy Weather

HuacayaFemale (bred)Medium Fawn
AOA# DOB: 7/8/20203 yrs
While her farm name is Lena, Stormy Weather hit the ground running and she is a credit to both her gorgeous dam and sire. We own her sire, who was the 2012 Canadian Futurity Brown CC and came to the States and took a bunch of banners here. He's a High Plains Hurricane son out of a Super Sam dam. His offspring have bannered across the nation, and there is a Judge's Choice female who took those honors at GWAS. It took very little coaxing for me to decide that, if I were to acquire an outcross male, this was the one I would want. Now, her dam is no slouch and is one of our keeper Dually daughters. Dually was the 2009 Futurity White CC and went on the next week to take the CC and Judge's C...
