I didn't do it on purpose. Breeding a son to his own mother just doesn't seem right. BUT, if you want to prove your genetics...it's done all the time. Cicero is an example of one mighty fine male with intense genetics from his mom, our AOBA Grand Champion Annapurna and his sire, her son Accoyo Eagle...It's all confusing, but an opportunity if you don't own these bloodlines.

Camilio's Accoyo Endurance: This fawn full Accoyo is co-owned with Accoyo America in Oregon. He is characterized by extreme density, a strong head, and loose rolling skin. His offspring are high density and exhibit dramatic character with high amplitude crimp and independent bundling. In AOBA Natiional 2005 show he placed second in the Get of Sire with only 5 crias on the ground. In MAPACA he WON the GET with three Accoyo sons, two of them Fawn. His get are extremely valuable with one 10 month old selling for $277,000 in 2007 and another for $97,000 in 2008. Hudson, the third is standing stud at Mary's Alpaca in Va. on a very limited basis. Endurance is now available for limited outside service.

We wanted to call him “Proud,” but it sounded too much like bragging.  The full Peruvian Hawkeye has all the obvious genetic potential of his three famous herdsires.  The great Accoyo Caligula  and Alianza machos Bueno and Magnum.   The coveted Accoyo Alianza cross.  A proven show-quality champion, Hawkeye announces to all that he is “ready” to carry his heritage forward.
