This Bueno daughter has turned into one of our best out crosses to date giving us nothing but show quality, show fleeced cria.We feel fortunate indeed to have Allamanda as part of our herd. She crossed beautifully with Royal Fawn but, dare I say it, even better with our own Warrior presenting us with a stunning, all attitude included, flag waving young male named Hawkeye. Hawkeye has taken his share of Grand Championships already.

Bonita - Championship Black Beauty

Bonita just gave birth to her first cria, a beautiful rose grey female, she is stunning. Shiny fiber and perfect confirmation just like her champion mother. She is wonderful mother and milker. When Bonita had her baby she immediately knew what to do. She is quite an amazing animal!

Chanel Fits Right In with Her New Herd...

A Top Notch Show Contender she already has Championships under her belt. A second at the Futurity in '08. Very fine fiber and high density characterizes her fiber while her little girl body is getting more square by the minute. In reading her pedigree I notice Bueno & Robin crossed...that's the Tierney's of course...then Mike Safley's lines come into play...Hmmmm! HUCKLEBERRY ROSE, For the Breeders Who Want to WIN BIG! 7/8 Accoyo

2005 Futurity Grand Champion..she's genetically & phenotypically wonderful... She has dense fiber with full coverage. Huckleberry Rose has been a favorite of ours ever since, well, since we first laid eyes on her. With magnificent black globes for eyes she is miss personality and always is carrying something in her mouth. When she won at the Futurity, she was holding onto her lead as we proudly walked out of the show ring. I'd like you to know that It is very important to me to put forth quality animals in this sale. It was a difficult decision to offer Huckleberry Rose, and it wouldn't happen except that I own her entire family. That's farther back than just her dam, Velvet Rose (who also won The Futurity), and sire Accoyo Endurance. Her grandmother, Royal Velvet (also was Grand Champion at The Futurity) will live with me forever on my farm. Aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews abound... Huck is a proven female and a great mother. She is currently bred to Mary's Harvey and is expecting a cria in July 2011. I considered various studs and decided on for a variety of reasons. First, individually, Harvey is spectacular. However the most important criteria for me was the genetics. El Nino Full Accoyo Foundation Female...Proven

Full Accoyo Proven Female - India's life is full of hills and fun, quick turns and wild feet. Her sire, Caligula's El Nino (deceased), is renowned as one of the best Caligula sons. Interesting for gene buffs...no genetic problems with these lines. It's proven. She despised the show ring so no award history for her. On the up side she is easy to birth, breed and supplies copious amounts of quality milk for her cria! Throws great density to her cria. FYI, India has a small crescent of blue in one eye. 19 Pounds, Time 2:30 AM, Healthy as a horse...and almost as BIG! Another Justinian Beauty!

I thought night babies were problem babies. Not so this 19 lb. big girl born at 2:30 AM. The alarm went off, "This is Mary's Alpaca, we're having a baby" and Don rushes to the field. Out she came, no fuss, no muss, easy breezy and that's that. Pook was up within 1/2 hour and her mom passed the placenta too. Pook is developing to be quite a little beauty . . . . you will be see her in the fall 09 showring for sure!!

O La La, Ze Best, Creme de la Creme...and whatever else comes to mind to describe the value of this fabulous female. The top of my foundation herd (along with a few others) Royal Velvet is the epitome of a solid beautiful alpaca in the field and she produces herself over and over again. Royal was our big star of 1999, winning color Grand Champion for breed and 1st in her class of fawn Huacaya females. Her first cria Velvet Rose was Color Champ of the 2001 Futurity. Caligula's Grand daughter plays with all the kids...

I'm not kidding, this female comes running up to greet you and walks beside you without a leash. Part of the alpaca lifestyle and part of our breeding program as well. She did that as a cria but part may also be due to her being hit with an overabundance of iron in her diet which tied up the Calcium and affected her growth and fiber...she's OK now and we're starting to breed her. All is not easy in the breeding business but our fingers are crossed for this lovely girl.

Championship after Championship...Misty Maiden Daughter

A stunning alpaca..."What's that" was a common question noting her different colors. But, her blanket is a solid dark silver grey. The only grey daughter of Misty Maiden she was bred by Sue Bailey of Silver Creek Alpacas who was nice enough to sell her to me as a youngster. The deal went something like this. Sue: "you owe me $5K more if she wins the Championship. OK?" Me: "OK". Silver Belle only won the Blue that time but every time since it's been the Grand or Reserve....Oh well a deal's a deal! Now she's proven, a wonderful mother and her cria Tatoosh has exactly the same markings.

Singita missed her class but she had plenty of people visiting her at pen side. She is a solid female with big bone and an absolutely beautiful fleece. Her 2001 debut @ the Kentucky Classic was under the discerning eye of int. renowned Judge Maggie Kreiger. She selected Tinkerbelle as GRAND CHAMPION WHITE HUACAYA FEMALE. In 2002 she again was GRAND CHAMPION and won the Small Breeder of the Year for us at THE FUTURITY with her CHAMPIONSHIP Then Championship at the Nationals. "The best in the show" said Judge Sumar. This Caligula daughter is superb.And she just loves to kiss.Now, the fun part...who should we breed her to? It's a tough question. Who will NOT take away from her quality? Velvet Rose walked proud when she was chosen (3 judges) as the big winner. Her mom, Royal Velvet, was the 99 futurity champ. Her daughter Huckleberry Rose was the Grand Champ in 2005. V Rose has a very balanced body, she runs like the wind and is totally athletic. She is fortunate to have just as wonderful a fleece. At 6 years old Victory still maintained a low CV of 19.3%. Deduct 1% micron for each year of life and spike it for pregnancy and Victory is doing exceptionally well in the fleece department.
